PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENT THROUGH WORK / TIME / MOTION STUDY

Introduction

Work study is an activity which studies the WAY PEOPLE WORK in an organization. From this study, new effective methods will be conceived to improve the effectiveness of individual work. This is essential to optimize the operation of the total system to raise productivity which is a Key Success Factor in maintaining competitiveness in the market place.

Work study has two parts, first, the Method study and second, the work measurement (Time Study).
